Yesterday (June 16, 2022) was Museum Night in Mineral Point. This was Brewery Pottery’s first time participating – and we were thrilled to be invited!
We took this opportunity to showcase our small brewery museum that we revamped this spring. We’ve been collecting Mineral Spring Brewery memorabilia for many years and displaying it at the gallery behind the check out counter on a small shelf and on the steps. It’s been on our to-do list for many moons to update the museum space and a hang a few more things that we’ve had tucked away.
Claire and Tom built two new shelves, cleaned all the bottles and cans, and hung up all our Mineral Spring Beer wall signage and clocks. Claire also made a short video museum tour we posted on our social media.
Thursday night was our “grand unveiling” of the updated museum and we gave out complementary “Museum Night Ornaments” to all visitors that day as our way of saying thanks for coming out and supporting these small (mostly non-profit) museums in Mineral Point.
